making your room to be intentional
your room is the most strongest factor of helping you thrive, or it can destroy you. This post is all about making your room to be intentional, and useful for short or long term goals.
Place sticky notes of reminders or affirmations
This is most purposeful in a place where you can easily see it every time you wake and sleep. While it’s okay to get inspo/ideas from Pinterest or tumblr, make sure they really do relate to you and actually motivate you.
Keep it clean.
Clean room=clean mind. Ensure that every time you wake up, you clean your room to a presentable extent. When your room is cluttered and messy, it can mess up your mood and intentions for the day. + if you have a bad day, at least you can come back to a clean room.
Have your working space be minimal.
While it’s nice to have some personality in your room, if you study/work in your own room, have a specific place for you to work(which is not your bed) and for it be minimal. You will be the most productive with less distractions.
Do not allow just anyone in your room.
Your room is a sacred space, with different energies accumulating over time from emotions, experiences etc. It is your personal space. Do not allow anyone just to come in and add in their own energies, if you do, ensure that you welcome what their energy may bring.
Final one, add what your dream girl self would have.
If the dream girl version exercises a lot, add a working out mat or some weights in your room, or if she reads add some books to your room, and so on. But do actually use what you put in your room, or else it just becomes clutter.
